No. The Dayton Convention Center does not allow any outside food or drinks. Drinking fountains and cups will be available for your convenience.
Including a 15 minute intermission, the show will last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. However, it will feel blissfully short because these kids are awesome!
All tickets this year are general admission tickets (no reserved seating). We have a much larger venue this year and plenty of room for families to find seats together. With that being said, we hope to pack the house, so show up in time to get your best seats.
Yes. Children ages 2 and under that will sit on a lap for the duration of the show may have free admission.
The Dayton Convention Center has several large restrooms that are easily accessible and handicap-friendly.
It is rather low - clearance is below 6'6". Standard mini vans will fit, but larger transit vehicles will not (we weren't willing to risk our choreographer's vehicle to test for you).

The most convenient parking is in the Oregon District Garage, which is one block East of the Dayton Convention Center at the intersection of Fifth Street and Jefferson Street. The Oregon District Garage offers a covered skywalk on Level 1 that will bring you to the 3rd floor of the Dayton Convention Center facility. There are two kiosks conveniently located by the elevators & ramps leading out of the building on the 3rd floor, where you can pay for your parking once the show is over. You may also pay at the gate. This garage parking is $4.00 per hour with a max of $10. NO CASH- CREDIT CARD ONLY. For more nearby garages and lots, information can be found at this link: Downtown Dayton Parking While there is construction happening at DCC, the front doors of the convention center will be open for use and there are multiple elevators to the third floor.
Yes. There will be a brief 15 minute intermission.
Once you purchase your tickets online, you may print them out and bring them to the event or show a digital copy on your phone.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to each show.
Yes- the cast would love to meet you! After each show there will be a brief meet-and-greet.
Yes- there will be a limited supply of JPT souvenir mugs and High School Musical shirts. There will also be flowers available to purchase for your favorite cast members. (For your convenience, you may pre-order mugs and flowers online: JPT Store
Tickets (at regular price) will also be available for purchase at the door, availability permitting. Tickets are available for adults and students (thru college-age)
This ticket can be redeemed for up to 10 members of your immediate family living in your home (including college students). This ticket is only offered for the matinee show.
On-line, tickets and merchandise can be paid by credit or debit card. In person, we accept cash and tap to pay credit cards through Stripe. We are not able to process credit cards that do not have the tap to pay option.
The Dayton Convention Center has elevators. If you use the parking garage there are skyways with ramps leading into the building.
